Protein modeling with Discovery Studio
Discovery Studio is versatile program, for analyzing, modeling and
visualizing protein structures. Using the national license provided by
CSC, Finnish academic researches can install this program to their own
Windows or linux computer.
The course provides an introduction
to the usage of Discovery Studio. In stead of giving comprehensive and
detailed information about just one of the many modeling tools
available in Discovery Studio, the course tries to give an overview of
the possibilities and options that this program has.
Please note that on the day before this course, 20.5., a workshop about PDBe protein structure database is arranged at CSC. This workshop complements well with the Discovery Studio course and we recommend registration for both events.
