Scripting Techniques
This is a crash course to scripting techniques, including shell scripting, various small Unix programs, as well as Awk, and Perl syntaxes. These techniques are very useful for data pre/post-processing and to working in the Unix environment in general. A basic knowledge of Unix/Linux will be useful.

The fee covers course materials, lunches as well as morning and afternoon coffees. "Finnish academics" refers to students and employees of Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences, regardless their nationality.

There are 24 seats on the course, filled in by a "first come, first served" basis, with ensuring seats for those attending the CSC HPC curriculum. You may cancel your registration three business days before the course without an extra cost, after that a full fee is charged.
