Matlab updated to the version 7.10 (R2010a) on Hippu

Matlab is a matrix base program for numeric computation.

The version 7.10 (R2010a) of Matlab has been installed on Hippu. There is also a new toolbox: Global Optimization  toolbox. It was earlier  known  as  Genetic Algorith and Direct Search toolbox.

Before using the version 7.10 of Matlab it must type the command

module load matlab

 After that Matlab is available with the command

matlab

If you want to use Matlab in a row mode you must type the command

matlab -nojvm
