SOMA2 Modeling Environment Upgraded to Make Use of Hippu

Applications installed in Hippu can now be used via SOMA2 modeling environment

SOMA2 is a WWW-browser operated environment which offers an easy and intuitive way to utilize molecular modeling programs in UNIX computing systems. With SOMA2, scientific programs can be connected into workflow in which one or more programs are automatically executed sequentially.

Applications, which were used from Corona (CORINA, obprop, ROTATE and X-Score), are now used from Hippu via SOMA2.

In addition, SOMA2 environment provides access to several application installed in Murska. These include AutoDock, Gaussian, GOLD, GPAW, TURBOMOLE, and several other programs.

For CSC customers, SOMA2 is available via Scientist's Interface.
