New services in Scientist's User Interface

New services are added to the Scientist's User Interface portal / Summary of recent updates

Two new services have been added in Scientist's User Interface - "My Certificates" and completely renewed "Help". "My Certificates" is an easy to use tool for processing X509 digital certificates. Renewed "Help" -page now includes short videos instead of previously used text based content.

Summary of most important recent improvement in Scientist's User Interface.

• My Certificates - new tool for processing X509 digital certificates

• Help - static content replaced by short tutorial videos

• Host Monitor - application for monitoring CSC's computing servers' information, status and batch jobs

• Saving data directly from applications to CSC home directory (Batch Job Script Wizard, My Certificates)

• Improved file transfers in My Files -service - 2GB upload/download limits removed and transfer speed increased

• Computing servers' information now also available in My Files

• Hippu $LWKDIR available with My Files

• Louhi added to My Files and Host Monitor

• Computing resources usage displayed with different kinds of graphs in My Projects

• Improved filtering tools for resource usage display in My Projects (time, username, host)

• Project members listing in My Projects

• UTF-8 character support for SSH Console

• Several other improvements and fixes

Scientist's User Interface is a portal for researchers using CSC's services. The portal offers a single, seamless user interface to many of CSC's services.
