CSC to host an advanced IT security audit course in collaboration with SANS

CSC – IT Center for Science Ltd and the Finnish Information Security Association FISA are collaborating with the SANS Institute to organize an in-depth IT security audit course: AUD507 - Auditing Networks, Perimeters, and Systems. The course will be held at CSC’s facilities in Espoo, Finland on September 20th–25th, 2010 and is targeted at IT security auditors and professionals, network and system administrators, and technically oriented service managers.

- Firewall and perimeter auditing,
- A proven six-step audit process,
- Time based auditing,
- Effective network population auditing,
- How to perform useful vulnerability assessments,
- Uncovering back doors,
- Building an audit toolkit,
- Detailed router auditing,
- Technical validation of network controls,
- Web application auditing,
- Audit tools.
This course also provides basis to obtain the valued Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA) certification.

This course gives you the international state-of-the-art best practices for self-audits and for preparing for external audits.
