Tiina Kupila-Rantala nominated as CSC’s Deputy Managing Director

PhD, MBA Tiina Kupila-Rantala is nominated as the CSC – the IT Center for Science’s Deputy Managing Director from July 1st, 2011. In her previous career, Kupila-Rantala has worked e.g. as Director of Business and Operational Development at CSC and as Project Manager at Nokia Ltd.
"CSC operative field is changing substantially . For example, the work for the enterprise architecture of the public sector restructures our operations. CSC strives to meet the challenge by promoting the use of research data and infrastructures as well as operational processes and data integration in the field of research, education, culture, and the information management. Also, the new Kajaani Data Center and the procurement of the new supercomputer create new opportunities for services. I’m looking forward to the new challenges and continue Juhani Käpyaho’s long-term work." Kupila-Rantala says.
Juhani Käpyaho continues as a Director for Company development and will work part time. Käpyaho has worked as a Deputy Manager since 1993.
