Samuel Kaski elected as the new chairman of CSC Board of Directors

CSC Shareholders' Meeting has selected a new Board of Directors for this year.

Samuel Kaski, Professor of Computer Science at Aalto University and the Director of Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT, was elected as a new chairman of the CSC board. The previous chairman Heikki Mannila resigned after his position in Finnish Academy of Sciences started in March. Also a long-time board member, Private Investor Kari-Pekka Estola resigned. Counsellor of Education Erja Heikkinen from the Ministry of Education and Culture will succeed him as the vice chair. Pentti Heikkinen, CEO of Gateway Technolabs Finland, was elected as a new board member.
