CSC – a key player in grid development

CSC is the key developer and applier of grid technology in Finland.

CSC is responsible for the National Grid Initiative (NGI) activities in Finland, and was one of the responsible organizations when the first significant grid research network M-grid for materials science was being realized. Through CSC researchers can have access to the distributed grid computation environments, such as M-grid, EGEE and DEISA.

CSC is a renowned and esteemed partner in European grid development. CSC is participating in the implementation of several significant grid infrastructures, including the EU-funded EGEE and DEISA projects.
