CSC’s services are meant primarily for the use of the national research community. According to the contract between CSC and the Finnish Ministry of Education, Science and Culture the services for university and polytechnic researchers are mainly free of charge. Services for research institutes and companies are commercial use and the invoicing is based on organization’s service agreement with CSC.

Services for researchers and research groups

• Finland's most powerful supercomputers, a wide range of software and databases appropriate to your field and help from the specialists: apply for user rights
  
• Membership in field specific software and database consortia (in Finnish)
• Researches can utilize e.g. European IT resources thorugh e-infrastructure and grid projects
• Researchers from abroad can apply user rigths for CSC’s resources
• International research visit programme
• Researchers who work at research institutes or private enterprises can use CSC’s services by making a customer contract. The services are charged according to CSC’s price list.
  

Services for organizations

• Membership in Finnish University and Research Network Funet
• An organization can either become a member of the Haka Federation or alternatively, a partner by providing own services to be available for end users
• Video technology services: video conference services (gatekeeper), streaming, and Medar media archive
