If you already have a valid user account at CSC, you can apply for your project additional CPU time on CSC's computers according to these instructions.
Small and medium-sized applications
Small and medium-sized CPU time applications (up to 10 000 billing units) should be sent by e-mail to User Manager at usermgr at csc.fi. Please include in the e-mail the project code, amount of billing units applied, and your contact information.
Large applications
For CPU time applications larger than 10 000 billing units, please fill in the CPU time application. You also have to fill in the CPU time application if your cumulative project usage exceeds 10 000 bu per calendar year. Please estimate how many billing units your project will use in about 3-6 months. It is advisable to apply for more CPU time well before the current compute resources are used up. You may also fill in the CPU time application if you need a larger database size for your project's MySQL databases.
Large applications are forwarded to the CSC Resource Allocation Group for approval. The CSC Resource Allocation Group will handle the applications within three weeks (during holiday periods within four to six weeks).
