Application software
Hippu is profiled mainly for interactive use, short serial jobs running users' own and/or academic codes and usage of graphical application interfaces (initial policy, may change). At current time, parallel jobs are not allowed in Hippu, except in special cases.There is plenty of supported application software on Hippu.

The command module avail also shows most available system and application software on Hippu.
