Open Babel 2.2.3 Source Package

This package contains Open Babel 2.2.3 molecule file
format converter program (http://openbabel.sourceforge.net).
Open Babel is licensed under GNU General Public License.
The program source code contains some modifications
to make it SOMA2 compatible.

To include Open Babel to be used along with the SOMA2
modelling environment, use only the package provided
alongside with the SOMA2 source code. Otherwise SOMA2
will not operate correctly.

Directory "openbabel-2.2.3" contains the full source
installation package of the Open Babel program with
changes in the following source file:

  openbabel-2.2.3/src/formats/xml/cmlformat.cpp

The changes are made at CSC - IT Center for Science Ltd.
For the details, see the source code. All changed parts
are accompanied with comments that start with: "// CSC -" 

Prior to SOMA2 installation, be sure to define variable
"#system.openbabel2#" in the SOMA2 main installation
configuration file somake.properties, to point to the
location of the Open Babel installation. Open Babel can
be installed either before or after the SOMA2 installation.
