CSC has purchased licenses of ANSYS Academic products for to be used in Finnish universities and polytechnics.  These ANSYS Academic Research and ANSYS Academic CFD HPC licenses are only for academic use.  See more for about the use terms on the web page ANSYS Academic Product License Terms of Use. The license setup consists of products for wide range of different applications areas, for the details see the web page ANSYS Academic Product Features.  ANSYS CFD bundle, consisting of ANSYS Fluent and ANSYS CFX products, is a part of ANSYS Academic Research entity.

How to take the program in use

• The user must have an account at CSC.  User account application form (Application form for computing services) for computing and application software usage is available on the page http://www.csc.fi/english/customers/university/useraccounts/. Send the form to CSC as instructed on the page.
  

• When the user is entered in customer register and has a valid account at CSC , the user is able to reach an extranet service called Scientist's interface. Log in Scientist's interface and download the agreements and installation media from the extranet web page https://hotpage.csc.fi/appl/structural/index.phtml.en .
  

• ANSYS CFD agreements and installation material locates among CSC Structural Analysis Software (ANSYS sub pages)
  
• Send the signed agreements to CSC as instructed on the extranet web page.  The permission to fetch software licenses is given after adequate agreements are delivered to CSC
• The installation media locates on the separate sub pages.  Download the media and follow given installation instruction.
