Introduction

This EMBnet-funded course introduces the use of Perl and BioPerl scripting languages for bioinformatics, like sequence analysis. The morning lectures will cover Perl (first course day) and Bioperl (second day). In the afternoon, the emphasis is on exercises. The course is open for participants from all the EMBnet member countries.

Teachers

Heikki Lehväslaiho (EBI), a member of the BioPerl core development team, and Jussi Tella (CSC), will guide the lectures and hands on exercises. The course will be lectured in English.
