0. Osaamisen kehittämistä syksyllä 2008

CSC:n kurssi- ja tapahtumatarjontaan on tullut lisäyksiä niin paljon
edellisen uutiskirjeen jälkeen, että päätimme lähettää vielä erityisen
tapahtumaliitteen. Kurssitarjontaa voi seurata myös lataamalla kurssi-
osion lopussa esitellyn RSS-syötteen.

1. CSC:llä tarjolla useita kursseja ja tapahtumia

1.1 Fortran 8.-9.10.

Kurssilla käydään läpi Fortran 95 ohjelmoinnin perusteet CSC:n
laskentaympäristöön sovitettuna. Molemmat päivät sisältävät luentoja
ja käytännön harjoituksia.

1.2 PERCH NMR-course at CSC 13.-14.10.2008

The course will present the capabilities and use of PERCH NMR
software to perform NMR spectral analysis by means of lectures 
and hands-on-tutorials.

1.3 Young Scientist Forum: New Methods in Computational Science 14.10.2008

Young Scientist Forum: New Methods in Computational Science is a
one day seminar on new results to develop new computational methods,
software and tools that can be used to solve novel research
problems in Finland. The seminar is free of charge for the registered
participants. The evening reception is also included.

1.4 Microarray data analysis with Chipster 30.-31.10.2008

This course introduces DNA microarray expression data analysis using
the Chipster software.

1.5 Protein modeling with Discovery Studio  20.-21.11. 2008

Discovery Studio is a versatile program, for analyzing,
modeling and visualizing protein structures. Using the
national license provided by CSC, Finnish academic researches
can install this program to their own Windows or linux computers.

1.6 Cray workshop for efficient XT4/XT5 usage 3.-6.11. 2008

Workshop will be given by Cray specialists. More information

2.1 Kemian mallinnusopas on käännetty englanniksi
