Software consortia - acquiring software and databases by pooling resources
CSC acquires software and databases also in partnership with users by forming software consortia. CSC assists in forming the consortium and with the negotiations with the software provider. The consortium will acquire one or more licenses for the use of consortium members. In some cases the consortium fee may also include support by CSC specialists and training days on the use of the software.
