Public consultation on EU funds in the area of investment, research & innovation, SMEs and single market

• The EC and the Member States should work together towards increased coherence and transparency in regulation, policies and the research funding programmes.
• The objective of ensuring European world-class research infrastructures (incl. e-infrastructures) accessible to all researchers in Europe and beyond must remain a key priority in the next Framework Programme for R&I.
• Provide support  for research communities to overcome the barriers related to culture, policy, legislation, funding and service provisioning.
• The overall funding for the framework programme must be increased.
  • The processes for proposals and reporting should be simplified.
  • Funding should allow agile projects with fixed aims but more open means to achieve the goals.
