The course is intended for researcher interested in plasma physics and/or particle based methods for strongly non-linear mechanics. The level of the course is suitable for advanced university students and both junior and senior level researchers. The courses is focused on both computational aspects and science. The course consist of two parts (i.e. days). The first day focus on the particle based methods, algorithms and implementations for the simulation of strongly non-linear mechanics like fragmentation, glacier calving, growth, granular material, etc.. The second day is devoted to dynamics of plasma and various methods for simulating the dynamics of interstellar matter, the Earth's magnetosphere, fusion plasma and stars. Lecturers are national and international top-level scientists within their own field of research.
