What we are doing:

LIIKUTPA – "New technologies and services for sports and well-being" project is coordinated by the University of Jyväskylä. The goal of the project is to produce measurement and testing solutions that enable self-sufficient welfare and health care, development of public health care in direction of remote and self-diagnosis as well as the development of Finnish professional sports and sports technology business. The project is two years and is implemented as a group project among all five CEMIS members. The project has a connection with KAMK's KANTELI "International Technology Business" project.

CEMIS (Center for Measurement and Information Systems) is a joint contract-based research and training center of two universities (University of Oulu and University of Jyväskylä), two research and service organizations (VTT and CSC) and Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. CEMIS has prepared development project plans for 2017-2018. CEMIS seeks financing for four parallel projects aimed at developing new technology solutions (BIOMIT) for Kainuu's bio-economy and measurement technology companies, reliable measurement methods for the environmental impact of mines and industrial processes (KAIMIT), to bring international technology business to Kainuu (KANTELI) and new product and service solutions sports, wellness and health (LIIKUTPA project).
