Tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiotoiminta

CSC etsii aktiivisesti mahdollisuuksia uusien innovaatioiden ja palveluiden kehittämiseksi asiakkaillemme. Tehtävämme on pitää Suomi tutkimuksen kärkimaana. Seuraamme järjestelmällisesti erilaisia rahoitusmahdollisuuksia tuodaksemme kansainväliset huippuinnovaatiot suomalaisen korkeakoulusektorin käyttöön ja osallistuaksemme tulevaisuuden avainteknologioiden ja -palveluiden kehittämiseen. Suurimpia tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiohankkeidemme rahoittajia ovat Suomen Akatemia, Business Finland, NeIC sekä Euroopan unionin CEF-, Horisontti 2020-, Horisontti Eurooppa- ja EARK-ohjelmat.

Osallistumme lähes 50:een ulkoisen rahoituksen tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiohankkeeseen yhdessä kumppaneidemme kanssa. Tämä yhteistyö auttaa meitä tarjoamaan johtavia palveluita, kuten maailmanluokan laskenta- ja datanhallintapalveluita, suoraan suomalaisille tutkijoille. Lisäksi hankkeiden avulla tuomme suomalaiset näkökulmat kansainväliseen keskusteluun yhteisistä standardeista ja käytännöistä, mikä lisää Suomen kilpailukykyä ja edesauttaa laajasti suomalaista yhteiskuntaa.

AIKA

The AIKA project will facilitate digital transition of the Kainuu region by establishing new data-driven solutions for business and industry, by building connections to national and international networks, and by planning for long-term exploitation of the AIKA Ecosystem.

The current emphasis on open science is caused by the crisis of reproducibility and inability to make full use of existing research, which CodeRefinery has addressed by teaching key tools and practices. Euclid Cosmology Mission is the next cosmology satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA). Modern society is completely dependent on power networks as well as satellite, radar, and radio signals, which are all susceptible to disturbances in the ionosphere.
