The new cluster system Taito will be available for users during spring 2013. In this workshop the attendees will learn the best practices on porting and optimizing their applications onto the system. The workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Compiling and porting code to this architecture
  • Profiling and optimizing serial and parallel codes
  • Infiniband considerations
  • Advanced usage of the batch system

The workshop will consist of a mix of lecture, labs and demos.
