This introductory course covers single cell RNA-seq data analysis methods, tools and file formats. The free and user-friendly Chipster software is used in the exercises, and the course is thus suitable for everybody.

Containers are a way to package software with its dependencies in a way that is isolated from the host system. They offer a way to install and run complex or otherwise hard to install software in a HPC environment. They are also becoming a popular way for developers to distribute their software. In this webinar we give a basic introduction to containers in general and look at running Singulariry containers in Puhti. We also discuss how to convert and run Docker containers with Singularity.
