Training Facilities

CSC maintains exclusive training facilities at Keilaniemi, Espoo: a state-of-the-art classroom, a multipurpose studio, and a high-tech meeting room. All facilities have wireless network.

Computer Classroom Dogmi

Computer classroom Dogmi is equipped with 25 modern and powerful PC workstations. The computers have Linux and Windows operating systems and feature Intel Core i7-4470 processors, SSD hard drives and Nvidia Quadro K600 GPUs. There's also room, LAN connections and electricity for participants' own laptops.

In addition, the clasroom equipment includes high-quality audio-visual devices, two HD projectors & screens and a document camera.

Classroom Debatti

Clasroom Debatti, also called the "multipurpose studio", is a 7m x 7m room with studio quality acoustics. The projectors on a soundproof space can project wall sized video or computer presentations, such as Access Grid connections. There is room for ca. 20 people. A broadband WLAN is used for laptops and presentations can employ two projectors in this room.

Meeting Room Diskurssi

Besides the two larger classrooms, there is also a comfortable meeting room ideal for smaller workshops or symposia. It has ca.10 seats around a single table, broadband WLAN available for laptops, high-quality audiovisual devices and a large HD screen for presentations. Remote participation can be accomodated either via an built-in H.323 video conferencing system or via an USB attached camera/microphone setup and video conferencing sofware.
