Python is a popular scripting language that is widely used in scientific computing and data analysis.
This course is intended for bioscientists who would like to start using python in their research. The course starts from beginner leven and provides basic overview to python and the Biopython tool library, that contains ready maned tools for computational molecular biology.
After the course, the students recognize the basic features of python language and are able to write simple python scripts and do simple modifications to existing python programs. They also know how biopython tools can be implemented in python programming.
