Description

Blender is free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline - modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, and also video editing and game creation. This course focuses on rendering meshes exported from scientific applications, Blender's mesh creating capabilities, and automating tasks by scripting. Also other features will be demoed. The course consists of lectures and hands-on exercises.

Participants are encouraged to communicate their particular Blender interests and use cases to the organizers beforehand.
