CSC Winter School in Bioinformatics 2015 - Training

This course provides a tutorial-style introduction to the essential, practical computational tools for life science research, with a focus on the infrastructure provided by CSC. The topics will include, e.g., managing your datasets, running analysis on a grid or a computer cluster, Unix power use and cloud computing. The workshop is aimed for graduate students in the field, providing a comprehensive overview on the tools of the trade, without forgetting the important aspect of network building.
Each of the course days focuses to specific topic or topics and you can register just for specific days if you are not willing to register to all the dates.
