Many scientists spend much time programming. Is enough attention being paid to good software development practices?
This workshop series consists of three interactive sessions that address various aspects in development of scientific software: software engineering practices, productization of your software, and running it in the latest computer platforms. It is targeted for researchers working on writing their own software, participating to a software consortium, or intending to start writing scientific software.
- Part I: Best practices of software engineering (March 4)
- Part II: Productization of scientific software (April 8)
- Part III: Code optimization & hardware considerations (April 29).
