Many scientists spend much time programming. Is enough attention being paid to good software development practices?
This workshop series consists of three interactive sessions that address various aspects in development of scientific software: software engineering practices, productization of your software, and running it in the latest computer platforms. It is targeted for researchers working on writing their own software, participating to a software consortium, or intending to start writing scientific software.
13:15-13:45 A workstation, a cluster, cloud, a supercomputer - how to select a platform, to get resources and to optimize your code for the selected platform
13:45-14:30 Short case studies by the attendees, discussion
14:30-14:45 Coffee break
14:45-15:15 Future trends in supercomputing
15:15-16:30 Short case studies by the attendees, discussion
