This course covers the modern features of the Fortran programming language. Topics include object-oriented features, language interoperability and several other enhancements included in Fortran 2008 standard. In addition, a way to express distributed memory parallelism via Fortran coarrays will be discussed in detail.
Data Carpentry workshops are for any researcher who has data they want to analyze, and no prior computational experience is required. This hands-on workshop teaches basic concepts, skills and tools for working more effectively with data.
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to scientific visualization using ParaView.
Paketointikomponentti on PAS-palvelujen kehittämä työkalu kansallisten profiilien mukaisten siirtopakettien muodostamiseen. Työkalun avulla voidaan siirtopaketin muodostaminen automatisoida ja siten vähentää virheitä siirtopaketin muodostamisessa. Koulutus on tarkoitettu paketointikomponentin nykyisille ja tuleville hyödyntäjille. Koulutuksessa käydään läpi paketointikomponentin toiminta konkreettisine harjoituksineen.
Julia is a new high-level, high-performance programming language. In other words, it aims to be simple to write and fast to run. It has gained a lot of visibility especially among various fields of science, such as astronomy, biology, finance, and statistics.
In this webinar we will look at example GIS use cases, which suite to CSC cloud services cPouta and Rahti: * Web services * Database applications * Complicated software stacks, that are difficult to install to Taito/Puhti. * Course environments.
